| 1. Afterwards my spirit was concealed, ascending into the heavens. I beheld the sons of the holy angels treading on flaming fire, whose garments and robes were white, and whose countenances were transparent as crystal.

And it came to pass after this that my spirit was hidden, and it ascended into the heavens; there I saw the sons of the angels stepping on a flame of fire; their clothes were white and also their garments; and the light of their faces was like crystal.

Sedermera blef min ande dold, uppstigande i himlarne. Jag såg de heliga änglarnes söner trampande på lågande eld, hvilkas kläder och mantlar voro hvita och hvilkas ansigten voro genomskinliga såsom kristall.

Och det begaf sig därefter, att min ande vardt hänrykt och upplyft till himlarna. Där såg jag den öfre världens barn, huru de stego på eldslågor, och deras kläder voro hvita, och deras ansikten glänste som kristall.
